Profil

Dr. Mohd Farhan bin Md Ariffin adalah seorang akademisi muda dan Dosen Senior di Pusat Kajian Al-Qur’an dan Al-Sunnah, Fakultas Pengajian Islam, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) sejak Juli 2021. Beliau menempuh seluruh jenjang pendidikan tinggi di Universiti Malaya, mulai dari gelar Sarjana Usuluddin (2012), Magister Hadis (2015), hingga Doktor Filsafat (PhD) di bidang Hadis dengan fokus pada isu Halal pada tahun 2019. Sebelum bergabung dengan UKM, beliau berkarier sebagai Dosen Senior di Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) dan dipercaya memegang amanah sebagai Koordinator Program Praktik dan Konsep Manajemen Halal serta program pascasarjana Fikih Sains dan Teknologi.

Kepakaran utama beliau mencakup studi hadis tematik, keamanan pangan, isu-isu kontemporer Islam, serta manajemen halal. Dr. Farhan merupakan peneliti yang sangat produktif dengan total koleksi mencapai 204 publikasi ilmiah, termasuk artikel jurnal internasional terindeks, buku, dan bab dalam buku. Atas dedikasinya dalam penelitian, beliau telah menerima berbagai penghargaan bergengsi, antara lain Best Paper Award dalam kompetisi riset internasional, serta beberapa medali emas dalam pameran poster akademik terkait kontribusi teks-teks Islam terhadap praktik keamanan pangan berkelanjutan.

Bilveer Singh aktif berkontribusi sebagai Professor Fellow di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (FISIP) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta untuk periode tahun 2025. Pada penugasan ini, beliau bermitra secara akademik dan riset dengan Robi Sugara, M.Sc,  dosen FISIP UIN Jakarta. Kolaborasi ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat jejaring internasional UIN Jakarta sekaligus mendorong integrasi keilmuan dan riset berstandar global.
