The Visiting Professorship aims to provide opportunities for distinguished professors from world class universities to visit and collaborate with the staff in Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta (UIN Jakarta). The program seeks to promote academic exchange and research collaboration between the visiting professors and the university's faculty staff.

What We Cover

1. Total funding is IDR 100 million (approximately USD 6.600) at cost.
2. International airfare, living stipend, accomodation, local transport, health-travel insurance and visa fee (reimbursement in two terms).

Expectations

1. Giving guest lecture.
2. Conducting join Research with UIN Jakarta faculty member.
3. Publishing join research article for Scopus-indexed journal or alike.
4. Assisting in implementing an article writing coaching clinic for UIN Jakarta lecturers.

Eligibility / Documents

1. Professor or PHD from an international university or research center. Email exchanges or a letter of support from UIN Jakarta staff. Letter of statement from home institution. Latest academic CV.
2. Research proposal and activities plan (max 1.500 words). Scan of passport front page. Posses excellent English or Arabic language skills.
