Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta is an academic community of higher education which has the duties and responsibilities to implement the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely teaching, research and community service. UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has a vision to “Make UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta a Global Reputable University with "Excellence of the Integration of Islamic, Indonesian, Science and Technology”. UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is also obliged to play an active role in providing alternative solutions based on academic studies of needs, challenges or problems faced by society either directly or indirectly. Social religious, science and technology activities for the community are directed to help the program eradicating poverty in communities that are marginalized educationally, economically, technologically and health-wise.

     Sustainable development of global society and maintaining the cultural factors of society through improving education, knowledge, science and technology and science-based Islamic studies will produce creative human resources capable of producing cutting-edge innovations. Therefore, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta realizes the importance of carrying out community service activities to an integrated society to bridge the process of spreading Islamic, Indonesian, science and technology values to society.
